It is crucial for one to take a good care of their natural nails before and after the
good look of manicure. Here are a few tips:
1. Use moisturizer
Frequently sanitizing and hand-washing can promptly dry out the skin. So it is advisable to moisturize after every wash. When moisturising, be sure to also rub onto your nail plates, cuticles and distal edges.
2. Avoid using harsh polish
There are toxic chemicals contained within certain nail polishes (e.g. dimethyl and diethyl phthalates), so ensure that you read the labels before you purchase. Though water-based polishes don't last as long, they are the safest option for your nails.
3. Choose a good remover
Acetone-free nail-polish remover is not as harsh on the nails, so get this kind of remover.
